Located on the first floor of the Grand Hotel in Jerome, Arizona, The Asylum is very cozy and bills itself as "dining on the fringe" and it really is the fringe when you consider it is located in a hotel with ghosts that sits on a hilltop overlooking the old mining town of Jerome.

Located in a small shopping village and near the Maui Ocean Aquarium, Ma'alaea Grill was the first restaurant sign we saw as we made our way around Ma'alaea Bay harbor to our condo.

If you are staying on the island of Kauai near Poipu then you will be happy to find Keoki's Paradise is in your vicinity. Quite lovely, very Hawaiian, it has waterfalls and an island decor, and the food is good too.

Oki Diner & Bakery is a convenient food stop on Kuhio Highway to and from the beach at Hanae. If it's evening you'll see the brightly lit Oki Diner signage at the intersections of the Kuhio and Kaumualii Highways and Rice Street.
