Little Daisy Motel - Cottonwood, Arizona

Between Jerome and Sedona lies the city of Cottonwood, a city of 10,000. We were going to be visiting both Jerome and Sedona and wanted to stay somewhere relatively close to both. Prior to our visit I did some online research and went to TripAdvisor, a travelers best friend, to check out the hotel reviews.

Little Daisy Motel was at the top of the list with a number of glowing testimonials. Located on highway 89 in Cottonwood, the Little Daisy is an easy 20 minute drive to Sedona and closer still to Jerome. We arrived very early, at 9am, and were greeted warmly by the hostess/owner. Since it looked like we would have the place to ourselves she was able to check us in quickly. The rate for mid-December for a queen for two people was $48.60 with AAA discount. A fabulous rate in comparison to the $78 and above for hotels in Sedona.

Our room was small, clean and included a small refrigerator. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room but we'd brought along our portable drip coffeemaker so were satisfied. It was cold when we were there and the wall heater warmed up plenty quick enough. Overall just a really nice place to stay for a night on the way to your next destination.
